Safety and Security

Wayland
is concerned about your safety and security.
We assure you that we place a high priority on maintaining a safe
environment for students, faculty, and staff.
We cannot, however, guarantee the absolute safety of any particular
person. Since safety begins with the
individual, you must take the responsibility for your own personal safety.
Crimes
should be reported to the campus office during business hours. Crimes may be reported 24 hours a day by

most classes at Wayland are held during the evening hours, classrooms are kept
locked during the day. The campus office

security is provided by a security company.
Regular patrol of the campus is made by these officers from

building housing the Wayland office and classrooms has four outside entry/exit
doors. One of these doors is opened
during the business day. The other three
are opened at

in the parking areas is on a photocell.
The timing sequence is provided for the safety of staff personnel and
students during their arrival and departure to the facility.
