Wayland Baptist University maintains a separate holiday schedule from the federal and state government. Our projected holiday schedule for the period  through May 31, 2014 is shown below. (Bold = student holidays)

• Classes meet, offices closed:  Monday, May 27, 2013 - Memorial Day
• Classes meet, offices closed:  Friday, June 28, 2013 - Graduation
• Classes meet, offices closed:  Thursday, July 4, 2013 - Independence Day
• Classes meet, offices closed:  Monday, September 2, 2013 - Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Break:  November 25-30, 2013 (NO CLASSES) Classes resume Monday, December 2, 2013.
• Offices closed:  Wednesday - Friday, November 27-29, 2013 - Thanksgiving
• Classes meet, offices closed:  Friday, December 6, 2013 - Graduation
• Christmas Break:  Dec. 23, 2013-Jan. 4, 2014 (NO CLASSES, offices closed)  Classes resume January 6, 2014.
• Classes meet, offices closed:  Monday, January 20, 2014 - MLK Day
• Easter Break:  April 14-19, 2014 (NO CLASSES) Classes resume Monday, April 21, 2014.
• Offices closed:  Friday, April 18, 2014 - Good Friday
• Classes meet, offices closed:  Monday, April 21, 2014 - Easter Monday
• Classes meet, offices closed:  Monday, May 26, 2014 - Memorial Day

The university offices will be open during the normal posted hours of operation all other holidays.
The advising offices at Lackland Air Force Base, Randolph Air Force Base, and Fort Sam Houston are closed on all federal holidays as well as university holidays.
