Emergency Response Plan

 

PURPOSE:

While no plan can cover all possible scenarios requiring an emergency action, this emergency response plan will address the procedures to be taken in the event of known emergencies and will address the procedures recommended for unknown and unanticipated emergencies as well.

 

This plan uses data available from the San Antonio Police Department, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the United States Geological Service (USGS), and various research sites on the Internet.

 

MISSION STATEMENT

To provide a safe and secure environment for our students, staff, and faculty through the development and implementation of a comprehensive Emergency Response Plan.

 

CONFLICT WITH EXISTING OR FUTURE LAWS AND ORDINANCES

This plan is not intended to supersede or in any way alter or change provisions set forth in federal or state laws or city ordinances.  Any existing law or ordinance or any law or ordinance enacted in  the future will be deemed to take precedence over this plan.  Whenever there is a conflict between this plan an any existing law or ordinance the applicable law or ordinance will take precedence over this plan.
