Disruption of phone service:
Disruption of phone service can occur for many reasons and should be expected during any natural disaster or fire.
Action
If the land line phones of the campus do not work, use any available working cell phone to call 911 if necessary or to try and contact the appropriate authorities and the Crisis Management Team and Notification Team members.
Typically a disruption of phone service in and of itself is not considered a reason to evacuate the building, send students, staff, and faculty home, or to cancel classes.
