Please Read Special Note for US Army students using military TA - You must enroll for classes and request your military TA on-line through the GoArmyEd website before September 25, 2008, or you will most likely not be eligible for military TA for the fall term classes. 1. If the class or classes you plan to take have a prerequisite (annotated with the @ on the schedule), you will be required to sign your Permit to Register form certifying that you have satisfied all of the prerequisites. If you need to speak to an Academic Advisor before making this certification then be sure to allow enough time to prior to your scheduled appointment or make an appointment ahead of registration. Please note that when you sign and certify that you have met the prerequisites for a course then you are subject to the rules of Student Conduct and Academic Honesty. 2. All military students using tuition assistance should obtain his or her completed TA form as quickly as possible following registration. Failure to submit a completed military TA form by the due date may result in you being removed from the classes selected or being billed for the entire amount. US Army students must register and obtain a military TA form through the EArmyU system. 3. Student photo ID cards required to register. ID cards cost $5.00 each per year. You may elect to obtain a one year, two year, three year or four year ID card. Replacement ID Cards cost $10.00 each per year with the same expiration date. If your ID card expires during the term, it will continue to considered valid through the end of that term. For example, if your ID card expires on September 15, 2008, we will continue to consider it as valid through November 1, 2008, which is the end of the term. 4. You will be required to show your Student ID Card whenever you come to register, add or drop a class, use the computer lab, take a make-up exam, take a Virtual Campus exam, request a duplicate receipt, or request any information concerning your academic record. 5. You may allow someone to register for you or drop you from a class provided that person has your Student ID card with them at the time they initiate the drop or registration. 6. Wayland uses the Power Campus Registration System. The system access procedures requires are such that all students will have to register at the Main Campus at 11550 IH 35 North. Please refer to the calendar for exact dates and times to register. We will require a permit to register to add or drop a class in person. 7. If you are using employer tuition assistance, please ensure that you have the correct amounts indicated to expedite your registration process. Please refer to the tuition schedule for the exact amount of tuition and fees. 8. You must pay all outstanding amounts owed to the university prior to registration. An outstanding balance will delay your registration. Payments must be received in sufficient time to be deposited here, and then posted to your account in Plainview. We recommend that you allow at least two weeks from the time you pay your bill until you try to register. 9. All transcripts must be submitted prior to registration. We will no longer be able to accept a transcript at the time of registration. If you are missing any transcripts, new student orientation, or other documents at the time of registration you will not be permitted to register. If you have any outstanding documents to submit, please have them in our office no later than two weeks prior to the start of registration. 10. The WBUSA offices will be closed Monday, September 1, 2008 for Labor Day. Classes will meet as scheduled. 11. Please remember, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure you have submitted all transcripts from previous colleges and universities you have attended, and it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure you have paid any tuition or fees outstanding on your account prior to registration. 12. ALL STUDENTS in catalog year 1998 or a catalog year since 1998 must satisfy the MATH 1300 Intermediate Algebra requirement before being allowed to enroll for MATH 1304 College Algebra. MATH 1304 is required to satisfy the academic foundations math requirement. 13. Boeing/Valero students who are enrolling for classes taught at those sites must enroll for the class using IQ Web. The class will be listed as zero seats available to prevent unauthorized persons from enrolling. Boeing/Valero employee students should place themselves on the wait list for the class and following confirmation of your eligibility status you will be moved from the wait list to an enrolled status by the university. Changes effective this Fall 2008 Term. 14. Tuition rates will increase this Fall Term. Starting this Fall Term all students will incur a Technology fee of $9.00 per credit hour enrolled. |
