Please Read Registration Schedule Addendum Prerequisites for Virtual Campus Classes - Virtual Campus classes are subject to the same prerequisites as resident classes. You will be required to sign your Permit to Register form certifying that you have satisfied all of the prerequisites. If you need to speak to an Academic Advisor before making this certification then be sure to allow enough time to prior to your scheduled appointment or make an appointment ahead of registration. Please note that when you sign and certify that you have met the prerequisites for a course then you are subject to the rules of Student Conduct and Academic Honesty. Please refer to the Academic Catalog. Virtual Campus Classes – Students registering for on-line Virtual Campus classes may purchase the text books for that class on-line using Plainview’s web site (http://bookstore.wbu.edu). The student may pay for the texts using a credit card on-line. For any other form of payment (loans, grants, or Chapter 31 VA benefits), the student should purchase the texts through the San Antonio Wayland Bookstore. VA Certification for Virtual Campus Classes – Students registering for Virtual Campus classes and using VA benefits to pay for the classes must follow a set procedure for the university to certify the classes to the VA office. VA eligible students must obtain a special form from the Financial Services Office in San Antonio, complete the form and return it to the San Antonio Financial Services Office. The San Antonio Financial Services Office will then coordinate the necessary action with Plainview to certify the student with the Veteran’s Administration Office. Required Computer Equipment – Students registering for on-line Virtual Campus classes must ensure that he or she has the required computer equipment, Internet access, and current email address to complete the course. Class requirements may differ so the student should check the class syllabus before enrolling to ensure all requirements are met. |
