Application Process

All new students are required to schedule an appointment with an academic counselor before enrolling. Contact us at 210-590-5645.

The generic Bachelor of Science in Nursing students are admitted to the nursing program in the Fall and Spring terms.  BSN applications must be submitted by April 1st for the Fall term and December 1st for the Spring term.

Classes for the RN to BSN program are currently offered on-line.  RN to BSN does not require clinicals.  The RN to BSN program requires students to complete all general academic core prior to enrolling in nursing courses. 

Applicants are required to complete the Application for Admission and submit it with a $35 fee. In some cases a high school or GED transcript, and ACT or SAT scores are required. For transferring students, you must provide official transcripts from all previous colleges attended. 

Wayland’s nursing program will be limited in class size and admission is expected to be competitive.

Scholarships for the nursing program are available for some students based on need and merit.
