Personalized graduation announcements may be
ordered for Wayland graduations. Informational packets will be mailed
to prospective graduates approximately November and April. Once a
prospective graduate applies for graduation, he or she will be notified
by mail of the sale date, time, and location. The letter will be
mailed approximately thirty days prior to the sale date. The letter
will also include information on ordering rings for graduation.
A Jostens' sales representative is available two times a year, normally November and April, to take orders for our February and June graduations. Special discounts are usually offered to students during these sessions. Orders placed during this special sale are guaranteed by Jostens to be mailed to the student before graduation. Payment options are available through Jostens'. During the lifetime of the ring, Jostens will perform the following services free of charge: resizing rings, changing the degree or graduation year, and replacing or repairing any defect in material or workmanship in either a simulated stone or the ring. The warranty is only for the original owner and is not transferable. All Jostens rings are insured against loss or theft. This is a standard feature provided by Jostens at no additional cost to you. Simply notify Jostens in writing within 60 days of loss or theft, and for a $100 deductible, Jostens will replace your original ring. Jostens provides this insurance for four years from the date of purchase, and it excludes Championship and Military Academy rings, diamonds and precious stones. For information call 1-800-854-7464. After you have graduated, you will want to display your diploma in your
home or office. The University Bookstore has made special
arrangements with a well known and old establishment to craft a diploma
frame unique to Wayland - San Antonio, with a colorful photograph of your
campus displayed at the top and your diploma on the bottom. The
bookstore also has several other types of diploma frames available, one of
which is sure to fit your need. We realize that it is often
difficult to decide on something this important by viewing photographs
over the web, so we invite you and your loved ones to visit our bookstore
and view first hand the many examples of diploma frames we have to offer.
Students may special order any item
of merchandise normally carried by the San
Antonio or Plainview Bookstore. Check with the bookstore for details
and availability.
