Registration

Wayland attempts to make the registration process as easy as possible for the student.  At each registration location, all students are required to complete a Permit to Register form printed from the web when the student obtained a Permit to register.  These forms contain information for the student to follow to accomplish the registration process as quickly as possible.  It is the students responsibility to talk with a counselor prior to registration.  Any class which has a pre-requisite must be cleared through an academic counselor before the student registers for the class.

Students who have attended Wayland Baptist University San Antonio Campus within the previous twelve month period may elect to register on-line using the university's IQ Web system.  Detailed instructions on how to access and use this system may be viewed on this web site by selecting the menu option for IQ Web.  New students must register in person using a Permit to Register.  Students who have graduated from Wayland but are new to the graduate program must also register in person using a Permit to Register.

The eleven week semesters offered by Wayland include both graduate and undergraduate courses.

New students are required to provide the following at the time of registration:

  • Name, address and telephone number of two references (1 relative not living with the student and 1 non relative).
  • List of all colleges, dates attended and number of hours earned (even if zero hours were completed).
  • Payment to include minimum of 1/3 tuition plus all fees or have financial aid.
  • $35.00 one-time non-refundable admission fee. (Must be paid by cash, check, M.O. or credit card). This fee may not come from financial aid.
You may review the forms required for registration, and download and print them if you choose.  Two multi-part forms must be completed on the original form.

Refer to the published class schedules for the exact times and location.
