Class Locations

Wayland Baptist University - San Antonio offers classes at a variety of locations other than the main center.  To view a map and receive directions to the other class facilities, click the desired location below.  Maps to each location are also available at each registration site.

SAN ANTONIO MAIN CAMPUS

• If traveling north on IH 35, take the Weidner Road exit.  Stay north-bound on the access road past Weidner.  Take a right on Wayland Way to the entrance of the campus.

• If traveling south on IH 35, take the O'Connor Road exit.  Turn left on O'Connor, cross over the highway, and continue to Randolph Blvd.  Turn right on Randolph Blvd., and take the next right on Wayland Way.

• Parking is available behind the building and can be accessed from either Stanley or Wilson Road.

• Building 5725 is located on Hughes Avenue near the intersection of Hughes and Wurtsmith Street. Take the Luke entrance to the base and turn left on Gary Avenue.  Turn right on Patrick Street and it will end at the parking lot of building 5725.

• Building 208 is located between B Street West and 3rd Street West.  Enter the main gate to the base from Universal City.  Pat Booker Road turns into Harmon Drive.  Continue until you reach Washington Circle (in front of the Taj Mahal building), turn right into the circle taking Northwest Drive for approximately one block.  Turn right on B Street West and the Education Center (building 208) will be on your right.

Students enrolling in classes taught on a military base will be required to have in his or her possession at all times a state issued photo ID, a student Wayland issued ID, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and the Wayland registration schedule.

Non-military ID card carrying students should expect increased security checks and delays entering the military bases. Depending on security conditions at any given point in time, students may be denied entrance to the military installation, or may not be permitted to leave the military installation following class. 

Unless absolutely required  for graduation, non-military ID card students may want to reconsider enrolling for classes taught on a military base. Students enrolling for class on a military base are still expected to be on time for class. The additional security is not a reason or excuse for being tardy or absent from class.
